Rafting & Kayaking
in Castle Country
Spectacular Desolation and Gray canyons are north of the Green River State Park. Churning, white water rapids are scattered on the placid stretches of river. South of the park, the river travels through the red rocks of Labyrinth Canyon. Further south, after the Green joins the Colorado, the mighty river fights its way through Cataract Canyon for some of the best white water rafting in the United States.
There are a number of options available for Guides and Outfitters that will be glad to help you get down the various rivers found in the area. Please click here to view a list of the various Guides and Outfitters in Utah's Castle Country.
Rafting without a guide for the experienced is allowed. Most areas require a permit. For information on permits and very helpful trip planning guides, water level information and more visit www.BLM.gov/Utah/Price.
One thing is guaranteed, no matter how you ride the Green River, you will be thrilled!!
