The working cowboys at Castle Valley Ranch invite you to live the legend with them, working on cattle drives, living close to the land, building up some good honest calluses. Enjoy the western experience on a three-day stint on a working cattle ranch learning to rope, brand and drive cattle.
Dirty, hot or cold, it's all in a day's work. Sleeping under the stars and warming your hands at the fire. That's part of the magic of the cowboy life.
 We also offer horseback trail rides with various lengths and excitement levels. We'll match the rider to the appropriate horse, based on riding ability and size. Our friendly cowboys will guide you along trails crossing rugged and scenic mountains, ridges and canyons.
This is a place untamed - visited, explored, but never civilized. It's a place where the West is still Wild. It's the perfect place for you to try your hand at the cowboy life and the western experience.

Ranch House Adventure for beginning-intermediate riders

Spend your nights at our luxury accommodations with all of the amenities. Our expert trainer will spend the first day helping you learn to or get reacquainted with horseback riding. After being carefully paired with one of our horses you'll take day trips for as many hours as you like. In the evenings, return to our hot tub and gourmet meals. Other activities can be tailored to your desires including fishing and scenic tours. If you want to have the western experience without the saddle sores this trip is for you.
A Cowboy's Life: 3 days 4 nights $1,200 per person
In a world where "job shadowing" is a common phrase, you'll love this vacation assignment. Come on out to live an authentic cowboy's life on our ranch. Do what he does from branding cows, riding the trail and enjoy a little rest & relaxation "cowboy style." After spending the day in the saddle you'll eat campfire grub.
