Campgrounds Near the Arapeen Trail
Indian Creek Campground (Upper Joe’s Valley) Location: 19 miles west of Orangeville.
Facilities: 5 group sites, 7 single family units, drinking water, tables, firepits and vault toilets.
Directions: Travel seven miles northwest of Orangeville on SR 29, turn onto Cottonwood Creek Road 040 (improved gravel) and travel 12 miles north to Upper Joe’s Valley.
Important information: OHVs may access this campground.
Nearby attractions: Arapeen OHV trail route #54 runs by the campground. Stream fishing nearby, Potters Pond is five miles away.

Potter’s Pond
Location: One mile west of the Miller Flat Road, halfway between Joe’s Valley Reservoir and Utah Hwy 31.
Directions: From Utah Highway 31, Potter's Ponds campground is located 11 miles south on the Miller Flat Road. Also known as the road to Joe’s Valley.
Services: All family sites can accommodate at least 2 vehicles with trailers, there is 1 group site. There are fire rings, 3 vault toilets, please bring your own drinking water- none is available.
Attractions: Potter’s Pond offers 2 fishing ponds. It is the perfect base camp for ATV adventures on the Arapeen Trail. Arapeen routes 51 and 53 are easily accessed from the campground.

Joe's Valley
Location: 20 miles southwest of Castle Dale. See map
Facilities: Boat ramp, 49 campsites restrooms, privately run marina store
Nearby attractions: Joe's Valley Reservoir is the favorite of local sportsmen. It offers boating, fishing, hunting along with camping, and picnicking. The Joe’s Valley Lodge rents cabins and a pavilion area for groups. This area is becoming a popular place to boulder and ice climb.
Millsite State Park
Location: Millsite State Park is in Emery County, at the mouth of Ferron Canyon, four miles west of Ferron. See map
Services: Twenty campsites, picnic sites, two group-pavilions, drinking water, modern restrooms with showers, sanitary disposal station, boat ramp and docks.
Off State Highway 10 near Ferron, Millsite State Park, offers a great camping experience near a clear reservoir. Twenty campsites, several picnic sites, pavilions, fire pits and all the amenities, including boat ramp and docks are part of this beautiful vacation destination. There is a fee to enter the park.

Huntington State Park near Huntington Canyon
Location: in Emery County, just two miles north of Huntington and 20 miles south of Price. Follow State Highway 10 to the well-signed turnoff. See map
Services: 22-unit campground, picnic sites, group pavilion, drinking water, modern restrooms, hot showers, sanitary dump station, boat ramp, boat docks and swimming beaches. There is a fee to enter the park.
Huntington State Park, off State Highway 10, is a park surrounding Hunting Reservoir. Its lake is waiting for boating, water sports, fishing and relaxing under huge shade trees. The reservoir is one of Utah’s finest warm water fisheries. Only 10 minutes from high mountain country on one side and intense desert beauty on the other, this park offers a central location to experience the best of Castle Country.
