Take Utah Highway 10 from Price to Huntington then turn onto Utah Highway 31. The canyon runs along the highway.
Huntington-Eccles National Scenic Byway
The canyon is home to the Huntington-Eccles National Scenic Byway. Enjoy the seasons along the loop. There are beautiful wildflowers in the summer, stunning fall foliage in fall and sparkling snowfilds in winter.
Fishing
The canyon is dotted with lakes and reservoirs including several blue-ribbon fisheries. Visit our fishing page for more information on angling and fly-fishing locations.
Camping
If you’d like to stay in the canyon, stay in one of the National Forest campgrounds or in a dispersed camping spot.
Hiking, Equestrian & Bicycling
There are many trails for equestrian and bicycling adventures in Huntington Canyon. Two favorites are the Left Fork of Huntington Canyon Trail (foot and horse) and the Fish Creek Trail (foot, horse, and bicycle). Both are National Recreation Trails. Visit the equestrian, bicycling, and hiking pages for more information.
Boating
There are many lakes and reservoirs in Huntington Canyon. They provide excellent boating, canoeing and fishing opportunities. Electric Lake has a ramp for motorized boats. Cleveland Reservoir, Huntington (Mammoth) Reservoir and other smaller irrigation reservoirs allow "carry-in" boats only.
