Christian Wright Speaking UMW in Utah

On August 1, 2015, at 3:00 PM, Christian Wright will be speaking at the Western Mining and Railroad Museum.  Christian finished his Master Thesis this spring at the University of Northern. His thesis was on the UMW in Utah in the period from 1966 to 1985. These were challenging years for the UMW in Utah. As part of his research he interviewed many local miners.  His talk will address the challenges faced by the union in that critical period.
